About the project

Chelmer Housing Partnership (CHP) provide affordable homes to help meet the local housing shortage in the eastern region of England.

Silver Cloud HR were approached by CHP to support them with the selection of a new HRIS.

After a successful selection process, the client re-engaged Silver Cloud to assist with the implementation of the new system.

The challenge

CHP provide affordable homes to help meet the local housing shortage in the eastern region of England.

They first engaged with Silver Cloud HR in January 2021 to assist with the selection of a new HR solution as the current provider was not meeting their business needs.

The solution

Silver Cloud held multiple discovery calls with the Finance & Payroll, IT and Leadership teams to understand the requirements for the new solution.

Based on the client’s requirements, 7 vendors were put forward which after a tender process, were narrowed down to 3 for demo.

After the demos, Cascade were identified as the chosen vendor as the client found their solution user friendly, adaptable and met over 98% of their requirements.

After a successful selection, CHP reapproached Silver Cloud to assist with the implementation of Cascade.

The results

During the implementation, Silver Cloud worked alongside the client, assisting with data cleansing, populating HR and payroll data templates, answering any questions and providing guidance throughout, along with the clients IT team who were on board to help extract data from the incumbent solution.

Weekly project calls were held to ensure the project remained on track, configuration guidance was provided, and any issues were raised, communicated and tracked with the vendor.

The project made great progress and was implemented on time and on budget!
