Orbus Software helps organisations around the world transform the way they work by creating knowledgeable, tailored solutions and strategies.
They connect different parts of a business into one platform, giving them all their major insights in one view. This data-and insight-led company realised they needed to make a change to keep their own internal systems as up to date as what they recommend for clients.
The challenge
Orbus, a business with a keen eye for transformation, found that their existing HR system wasn’t able to perform the advanced functions they needed.
To give their employees the best experience, and to give their HR team back valuable time, they knew they needed something that gave them more options for automation and more opportunities for user self-service.


The solution
Having worked with HiBob in a previous role, VP of People Anisha Tank knew there were options out there that could suit the needs of Orbus.
With that in mind, Anisha and her team did an analysis of the market and were pleased to see that HiBob would give them everything they were looking for. Ultimately, they chose HiBob because of their brilliant onboarding experience, all of the automation possibilities, and the ability to customise user access which would enable more effective self-service.
Brought in as the implementation partner, the Orbus team found Silver Cloud really helpful from the start. From managing data to working out solutions and answering questions, the Silver Cloud team were considered a huge help in the implementation process. Their Silver Cloud HiBob implementation consultants spent a lot of time problem solving and troubleshooting for Orbus.
One thing that Anisha particularly appreciated was our team’s willingness to work a problem through with them live, really embedding the Orbus team in the process. Another factor the Orbus team enjoyed was when our Silver Clouders would take a problem away, trial new things and come back in the next conversation with a tested solution.
These benefits showed at every step of the implementation and Anisha shared that she really valued their input with things like setting up workflows, arranging the survey module and helping them home in on the best performance review process.

The future
Everything to do with the implementation happened very quickly and the team at Orbus were able to start using the platform early this year.
Only two months in and the team are already very satisfied with their decision.
While it is still too early to measure things like return on investment, the Orbus team have shared anecdotally that they don’t have any issues and are mostly in touch with the HiBob team to recommend new features or ask about ones recently rolled out.
They are excited about how they can already see the automated, self-serviced, insightful platform they were looking for taking shape.
