November has come with chills and storms, but most importantly, a whole lot of movement in the HR tech sphere. Acquisitions, AI and integrations – this month has been all about big steps forward and better connections. Here’s what’s been happing in the people tech landscape this month:
Papaya Global launches AI-powered payroll and payments
Papaya Global’s new AI-powered pay solutions enable CFOs to connect the full payroll cycle from data mapping to payments execution in 160 countries. Their AI agent delivers a 40% faster processing time and complete visibility.

HiBob launches new learning module
HiBob has announced its new learning module Bob Learning. It is an integrated, AI-powered learning and development module offered through its HCM platform, Bob. Bob Learning can access data from across the platform to tailor the learning journey and lets people kick off their development from day one. All while keeping business and career goals aligned.

Ciphr acquires Avantus Employee Benefits
HR and payroll provider Ciphr have acquired employee benefits business Avantus and their platform FlexGenius. This is the Group’s third acquisition in 18 months as they continue to expand their offering with capabilities that complement their core HR and payroll platform.
About the acquisition, CEO of Ciphr Sion Lewis says, “Avantus has a great reputation across the benefits and rewards industry for creating functionality-rich, people-centric technology that aims to make our working lives better.”

PayCaptain officially partners with BambooHR
Payroll provider PayCaptain has partnered with BambooHR. After having spent some time providing APIs to clients, they are excited to make their partnership official. They’re ready to ‘help set more people free from painful payroll.’

UKG introduce multi-country payroll
UKG, a leading HR platform, has launched One View Direct. This will help organisations create a single process in one solution to synchronise, manage, and validate payroll calculations from all in-country payroll providers.
Richard Limpkin, group vice president of multi-country payroll solutions at UKG, says, “The UKG One View suite simplifies an incredibly complex, time-intensive process for multi-national companies by raising the bar for accuracy, compliance, and real-time access to data — all while letting businesses chose their own in-country providers.”

Dayforce announces AI agents
Dayforce has announced the launch of its new AI Agents which are built to fuel job satisfaction and performance, while accelerating workflows across the employee lifecycle. The announcement was made at their major conference in Las Vegas. These agents will simplify complex tasks and remove friction.

Workday appoints a new President, Chief Commercial Officer
Workday has appointed Rob Enslin, formerly of SAP, UiPath and Google Cloud, as President, Chief Commercial Officer. This is a newly created role responsible for revenue growth, partnerships and customer experience.
“Rob is a world-class leader with a track record of building high performing go-to-market teams, a deep understanding of industry and partner ecosystems, and unique global experience, making him the ideal leader to help guide Workday’s next phase of growth,” said Carl Eschenbach, CEO, Workday.

Cezanne integrates with Microsoft Teams
Staying with Cezanne, they’ve also launched the new Cezanne Digital Assistant integration for Microsoft Teams, allowing users to efficiently manage their absences directly within Teams. Users can submit requests for time off and access their current leave balances without leaving the Teams app.
