Happy New Year! We’re one month into 2025 and it’s already turning out to be very unique! Part of that is how hard vendors in the HR and people tech have hit the ground running. We’re seeing a lot of movement in the HR tech landscape, a lot of focus on skills and a lot of partnerships developing. This will be an interesting year, for sure.

Updates
Humaans
Employee management platform Humaans has recently added performance management to its suite of tools. It enters general availability in February. It was created to be ‘an embodiment of our vision to tackle people challenges as data challenges.’

Zellis acquires elementsuite to boost AI offering
Zellis has acquired AI-enabled HR software company elementsuite. Elementsuite will be combined with the Zellis HCM to increase its AI capabilities. Zellis customers will have new AI features to use and elementsuite customers will have access to the Zellis payroll features.

Qualtrics announces new partnership with SAP
Qualtrics, the experience management platform has partnered with SAP to provide even better employee experiences.

Microsoft works with Pearson to provide AI-focused upskilling
Microsoft and lifelong learning organisation Pearson have announced a multi-year partnership to address the changing skills-needs brought on by AI. Together they will create personalised learning at scale and provide even more certifications for technology-driven careers.

Workday’s AI Advisory Board
Workday is bringing together experts in the field of AI to create its AI advisory board. These world-class AI leaders will come together to conduct research into the advancement of responsible AI in the workplace.
