Welcome to the latest edition of Movers and Shakers – where we share some of the latest updates and upheavals happening in the HR tech landscape February 2025. This month we’re seeing a lot of mergers and feature launches, a sign that spring may be coming for the industry as well as the weather.
Cezanne named G-Cloud supplier
Cezanne is now a supplier on the Crown Commercial Service’s G-Cloud 14 framework. This achievement marks a significant milestone in Cezanne’s commitment to delivering modern, flexible, and reliable HR and payroll solutions to both the public and private sectors.
HRLocker and HireHive are merging
HR software developer HRLocker has announced that it will be merging with recruitment platform HireHive. ISH, the company which recently acquired HRLocker has said the merger will mean customers can expect an enriched platform with new features and improved user experience.
HiBob has acquired Mosaic
Powerful HR platform HiBob has acquired financial planning and analysis platform Mosaic. This is part of HiBob’s efforts to put people first. This acquisition will create a bridge between finance and HR.
Ciphr launched real-time payroll
Ciphr has just launched its new cloud-based payroll software. The goal is to make payroll processing simpler and faster than ever before. Because it is fully cloud- and API-based, this software can provide real-time payroll data, is quick to implement and highly secure.
Benefex and Benify combined to create Benifex
In a fun name convention combo, Benefex and Benify have joined forces and come out the other side as Benifex, a portmanteau of the two names. The newly combined company is excited to expand their products and help even more customers.
Workday released new Agent System of Record
Workday has launched its Agent System of Record to help businesses organise and manage all of their AI agents in one place – whether they come from Workday or not. The Agent System of Record will provide an efficient, secure way to onboard new AI agents, define their roles and responsibilities, track their impact, budget and forecast their costs, support compliance, and foster continuous improvement.
Fiverr released FiverrGo to support creators with AI
Fiverr, the digital freelancer marketplace, has released FiverrGo, a new AI platform that is designed to help protect creator rights while giving them tools to scale their businesses.

Oracle announced role-based AI agents
Oracle announced new role-based AI agents within Oracle Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM). The new AI agents embedded in Oracle Cloud HCM help improve the employee experience and boost productivity by delivering tailored career support, automating administrative tasks, and streamlining many complex processes from onboarding and contracts to performance reviews and perks.
