About the project

A UK based accountancy firm with over 1,500 employees had an HRIS that no longer fulfilled its purpose and was also unsupported by the vendor.

The team were finding it difficult working from different spreadsheets and had no single source of data, so they approached Silver Cloud to assist in finding a new cloud-based solution.

The challenge

This accountancy firm's existing HRIS was reaching its end of life as the vendor was no longer supporting the solution.

In addition, over time the technology had not kept its pace and processes had slowly transitioned to being managed by a series of disparate spreadsheets and the team were struggling to identify a single source of truth for their data.

Silver Cloud were asked to help with the process mapping, selection, deployment and project management of the new HR system.

The process

Silver Cloud supported the firm by firstly mapping their 'as-is' processes and conducting a full requirements gathering exercise to fully understand their needs.

From here, Silver Cloud supported a selection tender and the firm selected PeopleXD.

Finally, Silver Cloud went on to provide project management and consultancy for the deployment of recruitment, HCM, talent and payroll.

The results

The project deployed on time, within 12 months and Silver Cloud went on to provide additional consultancy to help the team embed the solution.
