About the project

We worked with one of the UK's largest independent furniture retailers with 55 stores, to transition them from their existing HR system, which became end of life in 2022, to a new, integrated HR & Payroll Solution.

The challenge

Wren Kitchens is a popular British furniture retailer with over 50 UK stores and 1,200 employees.

We supported them to transition successfully from KCS Snowdrop (which was becoming end of life in March 2022) to a new integrated HR & Pay solution, PeopleXD, which would sustain their growth plans.

The team had not previously undertaken a project of this scale and had limited project resources available whilst they simultaneously had to manage Covid business as usual challenges.

Silver Cloud was brought on board to project manage and provide consultancy support for the implementation.

The solution

Collaborating with the vendor project team, the Silver Cloud project manager and consultant provided hands-on support through all phases of the PeopleXD implementation, including discover phase, data cleansing, extraction, transformation, data load, testing and payroll stages.
