Project Manager - Dayforce (Contract)

An exciting opportunity to join our Dayforce Practice as a Contract Project Manager, leading the delivery of Dayforce Implementation projects with expertise in stakeholder management, leadership, and technical oversight.
About this role
Silver Cloud are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead the delivery of Dayforce Implementation projects on a contract basis. This role demands leadership, stakeholder influence, and technical understanding. You will be responsible for managing implementation project from start to finish, leading steering committees, and handling challenging technical conversations with senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and scope are met.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and stakeholder alignment.
- Manage and chair steering committee meetings, driving executive-level decision-making.
- Influence C-suite executives and key stakeholders, ensuring business alignment and buy-in
- Oversee Dayforce implementations, working with technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate project risks while proactively addressing any issues.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure successful integration and adoption of solutions.
- Manage project documentation, reporting, and governance according to best practices.
Skills and requirements
- Experienced in project management, preferably within HRIS, HCM, or WFM implementation.
- Experience working as an independent contractor with a strong ability to work autonomously.
- Proven expertise in Dayforce implementations.
- Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to navigate complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus
Contract details
- Duration: 9 months with an option for extension
- Please note that the role is expected to involve a weekly commitment of 14 to 15 hours, with an estimated duration of 9 months. The effort required may fluctuate depending on the project's needs, but the overall time commitment will remain within the 14/15 hours per week range.
